I noticed that too, but. it. can't. be right... batteries are. around 200wh/kg, so having a difference of only 200g doesn't make any sense.

Anyway, still surprised the new brose motor is still claiming the numbers they already claimed at their first announcement 2 years back, feels like they should have upgraded the motor during all that delay. I am hoping. though specialised has somehow tweaked both he motor and the battery if that's what they are using, just from motor and battery. they would be 0.4(motor) +0.3(800 wh battery) = 700g heavier than DJI/amflow ( I don't even care much about peak power etc.). I mean I know they might still create a better bike, but it definitely feels underwhelming for Specialized to eventually make a new bike released nearly a year later than their rivals and be nearly 1kg heavier(the frame should be heavier,considering how Flexi Amflow seems to be) and underpowered(as I. said I personally don't find it that important... but even. marketing wise it definitely affects possible buyers).... we will see I guess..!

We know it's most likely Brose but there has been zero confirmation that they will use the Drive3. I don't think the Drive3 matches the specs that Specialized want to hit with the Levo. My guess is Brose has developed something specific for the Levo that is different to the Drive3.

Specialized also always do their own batteries.

I'm curious to see if they'll have the courage to put centerline discs on some models of the range, just to reiterate their philosophy... but I fear that this time the game will get tough, given the fierce competition and the state of the art of emtb technology...

I guess we had the Drive T (C911) which Spesh used, but with their own firmware (Eventually 20 amp). Then the Drive S and the Drive S mag.

The Drive 3 - or Drive 3 Peak (not sure if that means there will be different none peak versions ?) .

Most likely they'll just have their own firmware if it is the Drive 3. Or they could call it the Drive 4 for the Gen4 just to be different. Like they did with the Gen3 release when they said it had the "New" 2.2 motor - which was exactly the same at launch to the 2.1 motor ...

I heard today there’s a 1000W Battery ? Also was hopping for a indiscreet SWORKS badging but going to big letters again also no amazing gearbox , SRAM xx Groupset , the frame won’t be the same as the Levo SL 2025 geometry apparently all new , also dropped the rears shock cross bar and only one colour similar to current Levo SL SWORKS red tinge as for the hot swappable side loading battery well that’s anyone’s guess I really don’t think they’ll make a crappy looking side battery loading thingy ma jig

But chances are these rumours are just that probably gona skip a generation and only bring out the gen 4 in 3 years time
