We're letting a lot more information stay now. Though it's preferred that images aren't shared as Spesh seem to have done a great job keeping things undercover this time around - unlike the SL2 and the Gen3 launches - I'm sure we'd all like that Birthday morning surprise when it is finally revealed.

99% of Moderation in this thread at the moment is from Reports where people are understandably bored and frustrated from the same questions which have already been answered.

Plus, Forum Moderators are handsomely rewarded by Spesh with upto 50% off 26" wheels and Specialized branded side stands.
Side stand would be great since also other premium brands gives you the opportunity to mount or not mount.

The only thing I learnt from this thread is how popular the am flow and vala is. Their owners even go to posts about other bikes to let people know their bike is superior. 😂
And they don't do that just once, but over and over. And then exclaim, "I don't know why you would care what I think.".

Went down a Mahle motor rabbit hole and found this posted a year ago by Zimmerframe. Wonder if it will be true.

It's time for Spesh to shake things up a bit again with the Gen4 ..

175mm q-factor.

52v.

M40 is full power version, M20 detuned version for none EMTB's.

SRAM 160mm cranks.

That was the original G4. They couldn't get the noise level of the motor down to a satisfactory level, so it was put on hold for now and we've moved onto the one we're getting.

Really think specs set aside , the distance on trail will be long , also motor efficiency extremely good so in saying this maybe they not really trying to steal the lime light by dropping a eye watering spec of bike specific parts game changer ,,like 2000 nm or 1000 watts battery ( over exaggerated)
just maybe the game changing is in the way the bike preforms

You can see pictures of the new Turbo Levo on Strava, just check recent pictures on the trails near their USA HQ. I'm not going to post them here......

yikes, I hope the speculative weighs are wrong, not into a 50lb. (23.68kg)ebike. Not into carrying tools on my bike either (Swat). In theory and from what I have researched the Sram D3 motor is equal to or slightly lighter than the previous Brose 2.1 at 2.9 KG . The 48v battery should be no heavier than the existing battery in a similar wattage, more compact and possibly a bit lighter, albeit in the 800 w configuration a bit heavier that the G3 700 w/ battery. So I wonder where the weight increase is, as my current G3 Levo weight is about 46 lbs w/ upgraded parts, carbon rims, bars etc. The Maven brakes are a bit heavier also. Collecively, I can't see 50 lbs.
