If I increase my chainring from 32t to 34t will I need to increase the chain length?

Currently i have 32t with 116 links as fitted from new.

I want to stick with steel threaded chainring are there any alternative makes apart from Praxxis ?

There is no need to increase the chain length. I changed from the stock 32T chainring to a 36T Praxis chainring and no increase in chain length was necessary.

SRAM User manual says:

Wrap the chain around the large chainring and largest cassette cog. ... add two inner links and two outer links where the chain starts to overlap.

Its the only way to be sure (having taken off and nuked it from orbit of course). However since you are only adding 1 tooth (as the chain only wraps round half the chainring) you are probably, as said above OK. I'd check when you put on a new chain though.
