I don't know, if Levo use the same stem as SJ Evo. I switched to Renthal 40 mm stem.
Weight savings from 124 g to 119 g
Bar was different story,
Specialized original alu 800 mm 380 g and Renthal carbon 800 mm 162 g
I moved to a Renthal fatbar with 35mm rise, I’ll soon be getting the associated stem, just cos. I’m on a levo medium, and I’m 5’ 8” in my heals. I also binned off the original grips and went for some ergon.
Haah, me too! Spank Spike vibrocore 50mm.I use 50mm bars!!!!!!!!!
wow, 50mm is a lot... Are you guys pretty tall?
Hi all.
Very interested to hear what brand, length & rise stems and bars people have gone for when swapping on the 2019 / 2020 Levos? How many and what size of spacers did you end up using?
And what's your height and frame size...
Almost none at all. I think there is one small spacer on the top that can be moved below and that’s it. They’ve already cut the steer tube. How much higher can stock bars and riser go simply by adding spacers? Any at all?
I swapped for a shorter 35mm Deity stem, Renthal 40mm rise Fatbar, and used 2x20mm spacer. I swapped the fork to a 160mm travel for more travel and so I could have more room for spacers. I’m 6’4” on an XL frame. Of note I used a small piece of threaded rod to extend the SWAT headset tool which threads through the head tube. It wouldn’t extend much more than the spacer setup that came on my bike without it. I still don’t understand why they cut my steer tube so short on an XL frame. They basically removed the ability to fit your bars how you want them.
