LCES004 M510 Surrey hills weapon build thread

Hi folks,

I'm building this LCES004 with Bafang M510 as a surrey hills weapon, so not too fussed about range, but weight is important, hoping for 21kg - motor just arrived so hoping for the latest firmware, will report back.

However, I have some questions;

1. Those running a standard BTF.03 from Bafang are you attaching it to the frame in any other way than the battery mounts?
2. BMS Cable, it doesn't quite reach, do I need to run this?
3. Does anyone know how I can source this speed sensor and magnet? SR SD071.02 - it's in the 2023 workbook, think I've seen someone else in the forum run it?
4. Also having some issues with cabling to the motor, should the cables run out the back of the motor or come through the downtube and out the side of the frame to be connected to the motor?

Also running a bit of an experiment with this RS Yari mod with 7.5WT damping fluid and a revalve of the MOCO damper, will report back on its suitability for ebikes - Radtechnik für Profis - http://radtechnik.2ix.de
