Ladybower loop closure

Did the ladybower loop today for the first time in a few months. The Win hill climb above Aston has been totally scraped and flattened up to the top and after Rowlee Farm the Forestry commission have shut the trail before Lockerbrook until January but as it was early I carried on and I have to say with a heavy heart they have totally flattened all of lockerbrook with a wide temporary hardcore road right down to the bottom (2miles). Feel like a piece of me has died.

Lockerbrock is so the forestry lads can access with their machinery, apparantly the firm doing it have a good history of returning it to a decent surface for bikes
I think it’s still open at weekends too.
