Kiox 300 update?!

I’m having problems updating my Kiox 300. Software on it is 3.14.0 and the Bosch site says the current software is 5.12.0 !!!
It won’t update or for that fact that the flow app sees/recognises that I have one ?

Any help would be great please

How is it connected? what bike? what Bosch Smart components?

Should update fine within the flow app on your mobile device.

I’ve got a Whyte E180 RSX Bosch smart system.
Led remote = 5.15.0
Drive unit pro line cx = 5.17.0
Batt = 4.14.2

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Does your kiox 300 show up on your components part of the flow app?

Yes of course it does. Looks like you may need to add the device? Strange it’s not there.

Think this is the problem? It’s does recognise/see the kiox. And when I go to add devices it searches for Bluetooth which the kiox doesn’t have ???

Sounds like you should be heading to your nearest Bosch dealer or LBS

The only component that has blutooth is the controller...the LED Remote. Kiox 300 is merely a slave screen. If the Kiox 300 is not being recognised it must be either faulty or incorrectly installed. The controller messages every device on the CANBUS.

Yeah i know, it’s only 2 wires that apparently dont matter which one it goes in. Tho tried swapping them just in case. Don’t know what else to do???

So I’m gonna take it back to the shop

Need to be hooked to computer with Bosch software, sorry trip to dealership

All fixed !
Went back to LBS and they exchanged it for another one ! Worked as soon as I put it on the bike, other one was faulty
