Kelly's Theos "R" Series

Been out for a few months, but doesn't seem to have been covered.

Kelly's bla bla bla written by a robot sales paragraph :

Standout features :

It's got a pretty little rear mudguard... (it's raining, so that feels appropriate and with all that linkage in play you don't want crap in there)

725wh battery (20a) - removable with 6mm hex.

Panasonic GX Ultimate motor - 95nm. (rare to see one of those - @knut7 )

150/130 with 29" front and 27.5 rear.

Doesn't seem to be crazy expensive :

Looking at some of those welds, Robots are becoming more human by the minute - we should be worried

I have always liked the look and feel of the Kelly's bikes; I like their story. I first saw their semi-steel framed bikes first and liked it a lot. Then I rode one of their earlier aluminium alloy versions with a 50Nm motor when I was in the South of France. It was a hire bike and I was a bit dubious about the low power motor, but I couldn't fault it (the motor or the bike). I am kindly disposed towards the Kelly's bikes now.

Does somebody know what voltage is Panasonic GX using for lights? Can not google it.

I was in France again a fortnight ago and I rode another Kelly's. It seems to be the same one as was in the original post in this thread, even the same colour.

The fork had 32mm stanchions, but didn't feel too flexy. I didn't like the Panasonic motor, it was on/off in all modes except Auto and it gave a pulsing delivery. The pulsing was not only disconcerting to me (used to my silky smooth Shimano EP8), but led to the rear wheel skidding out on bends. The trails were covered in broken flat stones. I can't really criticise the bike because it was one size too small for me and it never felt right to me.

The previous Kellys I rode (see post#2) was the correct size and felt great. I believe that it was an E50 (Shimano e7000 50Nm motor). You can get an idea of the trail in the pic.
