Hey everyone, I'm from the Denver area and currently have two new-ish ebikes- a Pivot Shuttle and a Specialized Creo SL, as of 3-4 months ago. I have been mountain biking since the late 90s and road/gravel since 2005 or so. I also fat bike in the winter. I still use my regular bikes as well but love e-biking.
Now my wife wants an ebike but mainly for paved path and dirt paths....not real mountain biking or road biking. She also wants to pull a small trailer with our 18-month-old boy. So that leads me to my question- what shoudl I look at? I only know about traditional mountain bikes and road-gravel e-bikes. She wants something less expensive too. It would be good if I can convert the wheels to tubeless and have a decent range (30 miles for sure, even with 1,500 ft of climbing).
So I thought that you guys would know way more than me and could give me some good ideas. I see SO MANY different e-bike options from $1,000 and on that it is pretty confusing. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
