Have we got any real world weights on the new Rise?

All the reviews seem to be based on the M Team models which are obviously the lightest.

Has anyone seen any mention of weights for the 'normal' models?

My LT M10 is 20.6 kg. Size large. Maxxis Minions, tubes, large battery, Fox dropper, alu wheels, some SLX drivetrain parts. Handlebar is even alu (should be carbon, backordered). So apart from the carbon frame no "lightweight" parts at all.

20.6kg for the big battery is pretty good going. I was expecting it to be more than that. I guess that's what, a KG more than an old M10?

Anyone want to guess the difference in frame weight between carbon and alloy? Unless Orbea publish the weights or we get some user feedback, guessing is the best we've got 😂

Was the old model about 1.5kg different? Obviously, the carbon had a smaller battery which accounted for a good chunk of the weight difference.

Do we reckon a KG difference between alloy and carbon on the new model? assuming the same battery obviously.

I'm guessing that the base model alloy, LT with larger battery can't be far off the weight of the Wild?

I cant remember the source, it was one of the EMTB youtube channels but I am 98.9% sure the quoted difference between the Rise alloy and carbon frame was 1.2 kg

migration from old 21 m10. Race face wheels, Xt Cranks, tubeless, code brakes. With pedals and mudhugger, preferred saddle, OneUp dropper. Pedals. 20.2kg. +700g over the old bike

(which is what I hoped for - more range and power than the 21 M10 at less weight (c800g) than that bike with Range extender)

some elements on the 2025 series (from Orbea and other sources):
- carbon frame size M: 2.2 kg
- aluminum frame size M: 3.5kg
- 420wh battery: 1.95 kg
- 630 wh battery: 2.90 kg
- EP601 motor: 3kg
- EP801 motor: 2.7kg

forks and shocks, tires, brakes and other differences between SL and LT should be approximately 1kg difference

it gives some elements for different combinations: SL/LT, M(with EP801)/H(with EP601), 420Wh/630Wh

Rise LT M10 2025 with 630Wh battery: weight 20.3kg

- According to information from french stores
Planete Vélo Lyon Caluire: Rise LT M10 2025 with 630Wh battery: weight 20.1kg
Culture Vélo Annecy Seynod: Rise SL M10 2025 batt 630wh: weight 19.2Kg

so Rise LT M10 2025 with 420Wh battery: weight should be approx. 19kg
and Rise SL M10 2025 with 420Wh battery: weight should be approx. 18kg

to be confirmed by other informations

That’s awesome- I got the Lt m20 coming. swapping all my 21 Rise components- mostly xtr. I would be happy if weight comes in at around 20kg.
Are you happy with the ride quality of the Lt? Can you feel the added frame stiffness ? Anything you aren’t happy with besides internal headset routing,

My personal bike Rise H10 LT, 630wh, with Hope Brakes, One Up + Oak cockpit, Pedals, set up tubeless with XC Cushcore, and a sram GX AXS derailleur.

22.84kg in size M

Thats almost 23 kg without pedals. The alloys with the big battery are far from light at those values. I bet the new Alloy Wild with the 600wh is not that far. The Carbon one for sure it's lighter.

Update -I took ALL of my 2O22 M-team stock parts and swapped ( xtr ) them over to my new medium M20 Lt. Running XO plus with Cushcore front and rear it weighed 20.6 kg before it had any dirt on it. I’ll switch to xo+ in front and dd back and lose the Cushcore. I have gx tranny and DHX coil at some point. weight is currently almost exactly as much 2022 with extender. Hoping additions - removing Cushcore only adds 1 kg - we will see.

I tested both the newer carbon Wild with the 600Wh battery and the carbon Orbea Rise, and there was over a kilogram of difference between them. (Not specced the same at all tho)

I ended up choosing the Rise due to the motor, and because it feels more agile and offers a more 'natural' ride compared to the Wild.

The Wild, on the other hand, feels like a magic carpet, gliding over rocks, roots, and other obstacles, with a more grounded feel. Both bikes are exceptionally well-made, and I think each will appeal to a different type of rider

Interesting , as most people choose Bosch > Shimano.

Yup ! I'm working for a bike shop that sells Orbea, I had the chance to try both models before they released them.

In my case I really like this "RS tuned" Shimano motor, It feels more natural, more "acoustic" if that make any sense.
And the geometry, the spec, and the kinematics of the rise fit way more with my riding.
