GX AXS issue

I currently have a 2024 Whyte E-160S running its stock drivetrain, AXS (not T-Type), Whyte hubs HG freehub, 12s SRAM cassette and its running beautifully.
I've got some ENVE M730 rims on DTSwiss hubs i want to use but it wont shift into the biggest gear. Everything is the same as the stock wheels, boost and the same SRAM cassette other than its a XD freehub.
Tried all the micro adjustment in app but it just wont go up that high on these wheels, any ideas?

Have you checked your mech hanger isnt bent?

Limit screws set correctly?

I tried this when the bike was brand new, it didnt work so just put the stock wheels back on.
It shifts perfectly as it is, its just on the DTSwiss hubs its like the cassette sits closer the centre.

The cassette just has to be in a slightly different lateral position for this to happen. Problem is that if you adjust anything except the cassette position then you won't be able to put the old wheel back on.

If that is not a problem, then start from scratch and reset the shifting as though it was new.

Googling DTSwiss cassette spacer does being up results, maybe check if one is listed for your particular rear hub?

Assuming limit screws are not stopping it reaching the biggest cog it would appear it can only be that the cassette is in a different position compared to your original set up.
It could be that the wheel build on ENVE rims has the hub spoked with a bias towards the disc side, so taking the wheel into a wheel builder to check for any hub offset may solve the issue. Which DT Swiss hub is it? My Whyte E160 RSX ( 2022) runs the original AXS and the wheel is the DT Swiss HX 1700 with steel XD ratchet freehub so I am less convinced it is a DT Swiss issue.

It’s a 240s hub. Would the wheel being set up more to the disc side not just move the rim over as the hub is a set size being boost? I’m probably wrong but that’s what makes sense in my head.

The current rims are HTZ i30 and the spokes are offset to the disc side on the rim whereas the spokes are central on the ENVE rim.

Maybe the opposite to what I suggested....ie your original wheel has an offset whereas the Enve wheel has none. I am no expert on wheel set up but the chainstay design on the bike may require a hub offset to keep the cassette centred with the chainwheel.

Could well be I guess. The ENVE wheels came off my Megatower which isn’t UDH. That could make a difference I suppose

My guess is that the cassette is not fully seated on the XD driver body.

That actually won't make any difference though. The cassette position/alignment will be dictated by the hub and hub caps - the position of the rim will have no effect.

As much as I’d love it to be as simple as that if it wasn’t seated fully it would only make the problem of it not shifting to the biggest gear worse surely. If anything I guess I’d need to shim the cassette out

Think you are right about wheel offset now I think more about it!
So I wonder if it has anything to do with the difference between an XD and XDR freehub.......1.85mm difference in position??
