Gorilla Tape as frame protection

The adhesive on Gorilla tape is pretty aggressive. I would be a little concerned about it lifting paint or decals when removed. One thing that will be a HUGE pain in the butt is the adhesive residue left on the bike if you remove or replace it. The 3M tape and similar products can be removed usually with little or no problem. I have used a hair dryer to make removal easier and little or no adhesive residue.

If you are baulking at the cost of Invisiframe, then consider buying some helicopter tape and doing it yourself. You can double up on bits that need it and can easily remove and replace the bits that get damaged. Not as seamless and perfect looking as Invisiframe, but it has its benefits.

Notoriously tight northerner here, Invisiframe worth every penny! Seriously. And if you can keep your must ride tenancies in check, actually a nice few hours (over 2/3 days probably best) carefully applying and getting spot on. Really does disappear if you get it right.
