You should come over from the Darkside and join the Rebellion. Much more freedom with Android.Ah... I guess I’ll have to wait on Apple.

Latest update doest open. Tried two different phones.
Bloody auto updated itself and left me with no working app.

There are 3rd party apps for Android (not sure about iOS) that allow you to force the screen to stay on. One for Android that I used was called Caffine. Now I want it to be able to keep the screen on.

My bike is 2018 Full E SX 1 with Levo display (i think thats what its called). It works OK for me.Just tried the app with my 2018 Dirt e +1. Once paired it freezes the display and non of the control buttons works. Battery in and out resets everything. I tried it twice before coming in and searching the forums. I'll chat to my dealer but I can live without it

Mine says Goodbye as well.My display packed up and was replaced under warranty. The app now works perfectly. I'm assuming the new display(or software) is a wee bit different as it now says "Goodbye" when I turn it off
So won't it sync with the i phone thenAndroid here also, use it 4 times a week without issue, initially sounds to iPhone specific.
Only thing I am not sure about is the accuracy of distance traveled between RideControl and other apps like Strava.
So won't it sync with the i phone then
Just tried it in the lbs and it worked on an e+2 but still not on mineIt should totally stay sync'd with an iPhone with your 2019 SX 0, based on what you mentioned trying it on 3 phones it appears to be either a connection issue with the Giant controller or perhaps an issue with that version of the iPhone app.
Hi,
I've got a 2018 Full-E+ 1 SX Pro and an android phone. Initially ride control shows as connected but wont show rides or tuning. LBS updated firmware, I reinstalled app and re-synched now get bike details and synch doctor shows no errors, but no tuning (greyed out.) Tried with the shops iPhone - same. Asked what hardware I would need to update reply was non of the 2019 hardware is interchangeable. All I really wanted to do was tune the modes down a bit so assistance was more progressive.....
Recently purchased a spare battery, charged OK, bike said it was OK - went to ride threw up the error that the battery pack not recognised and switched off! Old battery OK. So back to LBS who reset the battery (a very secret combination of button presses)
I am also appalled at the lack of presence from Giant on the forum, shame as I love my bike but the support stinks...….
What phone are you using?I own a 2018 full e sx 1. The app works with me. Except saving the ride log is very hit and miss. In fact its 95% miss.
The Tuning bit works 100%.
