You can turn on fake channel in MC app settings. But I never had to turn it on for using EBike Fied on my Garmin 530.

I have an Edge 830 and I never had to use the fake channel. But many thinks doesn't work with the Levo. You can see on the Edge or Wahoo only the power level (off, Eco, Trail, Turbo), the battery capacity, speed, power, rpm. You don't see the remainig distance with the battery capacity, you don't see how offen you charged your battery or the temperature of the battery or motor. For the edge you can find an app with this data fields but it shows not the values. Maybe Giant E-Bikes can do that. With the Blevo App for your Smartphone you can see all this datas and much more.

You don't and shouldn't use a fake channel for the ebike field.

Just turn on your levo, turn on your garmin, search for sensors, you'll find a power sensor, and a spd/cadence sensor. Add those. The ebike field (once installed and mapped to a data screen) will use that.

Because this is all Ebike field will show you (apart from different display options of displaying % charge and mode you are in). For showing other data (speed, cadence, pedal power) you must add Levo sensors to show as data fields ...

You might have added and connected other sensors, but you have to change the data screen layout on your Edge.
The above picture shows a „1 field layout“.
You can set up to 10 data fields - and then you can set different data to each of them.

Home -> Profile -> Data screens (select one) - > Layout and datafields

When you use the App E-Bike Field than you can only see the battery level of the Bike and the assist level. This app can not show more infos about your Levo. When you connect your Smartphone with your Edge oder connect the Edge with your PC, you can change some settings for the app E-Bike Field.
When you want to see more informations about your Levo, you need the app Ebike Diagnostics. Than you can see unter Connect IQ in the Edge some mor informations about your Levo and after the recorded ride you can see in Garmin Connect the assist levels and the Battery consumption.
There is a new app E-Bike Edge MultiField, which shows your more information during your ride. On your Smartphone or PC you can set the fields what should be displayed for E-Bike Edge MultiField. On your Edge you can make a new page with 1 Datafield. For this Datafield you use the Connect IQ E-Bike Edge Multifield, than you can see all the field that you have managed before in your Smarthpone oder PC for the E-Bike Edge Multifield app.
The problem is, many fields are not read out for the levo, for example Battery temperature, Motor temperature, Battery loading cycles....The app is also for Giant Bikes and for Giant Bikes you can get all this infos in the app.

I have a Turbo Levo SL Expert and Garmin Edge 530. When you turn on the Levo the Garmin will detect 3 ANT+/LEV sensors; Speed/cadence, Power & Ebike (Assist Mode & Battery). So out the box you can configure your Garmin Edge Data data screens with those 5 pieces of information in five fields.

However, the Garmin will not record Assist Mode and Battery from your Levo. This is where Jan's Ebike Field ConnectIQ Data Field comes in. If you install Ebike Field your Garmin Edge will also record Assist Mode and Battery for your ride. But only if you Disable the Ebike sensor in your Garmin Edge first, and obviously you need to select he Ebike Field data and not the Ebike data. Complicated and possibly counter intuitive, but there we go ;-)

So what about all that other data you can see in Specialized Mission Control on your iPhone. Well, that's using Bluetooth. Garmin Edge 830 supports Bluetooth sensors but I assume it's a case of either waiting for somebody to develop an IQ app/data filed or it's not technically possible.

I've not yet tried the new E-Bike Edge MultiField mentioned by spider1750 yet. Will be very interesting to see if the developer has been able to extract any additional information, presumably using Bluetooth, and if that can be recorded in the Activity (Ride).

I had contacted the programmer to see if the E-Bike Edge MultiField app could also display other data such as the engine or battery temperature, etc, because at the moment the fields are empty. He replied that he uses the ANT connection and that Specialized does not transmit this data via it. Blevo for the Smartphone, for example, uses Bluetooth and all the data are availabe via Bluetooth. I also asked him if he could use Bluetooth in the E-Bike Edge MultiField app to read out the data. It would be theoretically possible, but it's probably not that easy.
