X2 users: do you have a good baseline to work from with the EXE? If so, please post up.
I use Fox's recommended settings and found them to be pretty much spot on. I've verified with a shockwiz. You're pretty much within 1 click of perfect depending on your personal preference.X2 users: do you have a good baseline to work from with the EXE? If so, please post up.
Axle-to-crown length is mainly what you need to consider. What I found with a quick search:Does anyone have any experience running a 170mm fork on this bike? Did it make any difference vs a 160mm fork?
I'm asking because I recently upgraded a Lyric 160mm to 170mm on a Trek Remedy and it made a significant improvement. Just wondering the same for the EXe, without exceeding the fork rake.
Have you seen Rob's video?Does anyone have any experience running a 170mm fork on this bike? Did it make any difference vs a 160mm fork?

Also I spoke with TF Tuned and their 8x40 shock mount kit was all I needed to get the X2 fittedPSA for Fox X2 users

Details of how to change the stroke between 60mm/62.5mm/65mm![]()
The best thing to do is contact RS with your question.Hello, who rides a Fuel Exe with a Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate shock? And can tell me which model (tune, rebound, compression) I need? Thanks.
I'd be more concerned with rear wheel clearance rather than the downtube. Will a 2024 Fox X2 shock set at 65mm have any clearance issues on a medium frame? I’m at 62.5 mm with no issues. It’s time for a service, so would like to go up to 65 mm stroke.
Edit: Now that I’m home looking at it, there should be plenty of room. The reservoir can move down about 90 mm before it hits the frame.
My 2023 has the following specs:Hello, who rides a Fuel Exe with a Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate shock? And can tell me which model (tune, rebound, compression) I need? Thanks.
Hitting the seat tube?I'd be more concerned with rear wheel clearance rather than the downtube.
Yea, I think the kinematics of the design are limited by rear wheel travel rather than the shock body. 65mm I believe is VERY close to max from memory.Hitting the seat tube?
