Flashing red LED and skipping pawls (2022 reign)

Hi, a couple of questions:

On my ride today the electronics stopped working and the bike showed a red flashing LED that I'm pretty sure was on the third/middle LED. I restarted it and it was all good. I've seen the posts about the 2nd red flashing LED, but can't find any info on the third. Anyone experience this or find docs about it?

For the last few weeks, I find the pickup a bit mushy (i.e. When I begin pedalling and the chain starts to pull the cassette) and occasionally hear a loud metallic twang and what feels like a gear skip but I'm pretty sure it is a pawl skipping. Not sure if it is happening in my hub or at the motor. Don't have a spare wheel to narrow it down right now... Again, anyone ever have issues with pawls/pickup on the motor?

same thing happened to me yesterday, 3rd led red and motor stopped assisting. turned out the rear rotor lockring had come loose and it was affecting the magnet sensor. tightened it and no problem afterwards.

Cheers, indeed it seems the third LED is just for the magnet sensor which usually isn't much to worry about.

I've gone back to a DT swiss wheel, looks like the Newmen EG30 wheel I was running has aged really badly: pawls and bearings seem shot after less than year of riding.
