Ep8 de restrict

Hi all I’m looking to de restrict my ep8 motor I used st Unlocker on my previous e8000 motor it’s the down grade of the software that I carnt seen to get correct. The inductions stated a need to (Download this ETube Project Apk le to your phone) when I download this into a file explore it dosnt seem to open). Has anyone had this problem?

lt's a bit of a pain to do the software downgrade, l managed it on mine but your best bet is to message the guy who sells Stunlocker, he's active in this forum and l am sure he will help you out.

it’s the download of the older E-TUBE file I’m struggling with I’ve got the file download and onto an file explorer app but from there I carnt sus out what to do.

Did you download the recommended app to store the files?

Once you download the files, you have to transfer them to the e-tube app and that took a bit of time
As it transferred them as a combined file and it didn't work.
l eventually got it to work by dragging the files over individually and then e-tube said there was a "software upgrade" and once connected to the bike it worked.

did you do this on a iPhone or android as I’ve not got that option to load it onto the app.

l actually did it on my Windows laptop connected to my iphone!

The instructions were to download an app onto the laptop and use that to interface with the iphone

I went exactly by the steps that STunlocker provided in PDF, and in half hour it worked on first time. Just need to be precise with steps and to go exactly
