There was a guy at Newbury Retrofest selling these for just under £2k.Rear hub motor in a legal and non legal version.Great for cruising down the local to meet up with mates on a sunny evening (but not much else though lol) but could always be the extra bike you think you need

I purchased a Bosch battery from this German company a few years ago when it was easy.

They make Bosch CX /500wh belt driven cruisers though they are more than double the price of the one you saw;

Belt drive is definitely the way to go.

I have a Priority Embark (more a tourer than a cruiser) with the Gates belt drive and, frankly, I would rather my eMTB also have belt drive.
