I have a Husqvarna Mc6 2019 with a Steps E8000 motor. It started making strange noises intermittent until the whole motor assembly started rattling and vibrating. Could not move the bike backwards because the whole unit locked up and it only drove like 1/4 of a turn until it stopped assisting completely. Opened it up just to see that the smaller cog on the first intermediate axle (right after the motor axle) was missing 3 teeth. Shimano won't look for any spare parts because their only answer was "you do not disassemble these motors!" (what a consumer world we live in!)
So to the question, would anyone have a spare motor with some other problem that could provide me these 2 intermediate axles (because I'm anxious that the large cog on the second axle may have caught some damage too) so I can get it running again? Or do you think it's repairable through welding and grinding by a specialist? Maybe someone's sitting on a used unit that still works?
