Does anyone know of a dummy battery fitting for gen 3 Levo, so I can fly my bike to the Alps to use the chair lifts?
I can't fly with a battery, but need something to put in the void, so I can ride it with no batteryWhy do you need a dummy battery ..?
I assume what OP means is having something (bash guard) to blank over the hole left when the battery is removed. Pretty sure the rock guard can just be removed form the battery and fitted to the bike for this purpose though?I understand the part where you can't fly with the battery ..but will not having a " replacement " where the battery sits really make too much of a difference to how the bike handles ?
Nice one Tim. ThanksThere's this company in Germany. Named after their main product, i.e. dummy battery covers. Picked up a card for them at the local Specialized concept store: Specialized Levo Gen3 Akku Dummy
Haven't tried them myself. Just made a note of them in case I decide I want a dummy in the future.
It's a German-only site, so here's the translated version from Google:
Feel free to contact them in English. The vast majority speak passable English here.
The only difficulty might be shipping to the UK. I do love all those Brexit benefits!

p.s. note the different versions for carbon and aluminium frames!
Should you get a dummy and ride your levo without battery, please report back on how it was. Did you feel you were working against the motor or was it simply like a non-emtb, but a bit heavier?Does anyone know of a dummy battery fitting for gen 3 Levo, so I can fly my bike to the Alps to use the chair lifts?
