Riding a tuned or deristricted EMTB is not a trivial offence and can have serious legal consequences. Also, many manufacturers can detect the use of a tuning device or deristricting method and may decline a repair under warranty if it was modified from the intended original specification. Deristricting EMTB's can also add increased loads for motors and batteries. Riding above the local law limit may reclassify the bike as a low-powered bike, requiring insurance, registration and a number plate.
Be aware of your local country laws. Many laws prohibit use of modified EMTB's. It is your responsibility to check local laws. Ignoring it, has potential implications to trail access, and risk of prosecution in the event of an accident.

It works, but you have to update the device before you're able to access the 'secret' menu. I can confirm it's available in Device Version 00.08.03.06, who knows what will happen as the updates are pushed out though...Getting mixed reports. Some people say this works others say it doesn’t. Can anyone confirm one way or the other?
I would not expect DJI to block this. I said in the other thread DJI usually leave some backdoors for things like this, they always have on their drones.Guess it wont take long for DJI to plug that with a firmware patch.
I also wonder about changing wheel size to 27.5 in the app when you are running 29er. This should in theory increase max speed?
GeneralWelcome to the forum. Have you checked the derestricting section ?
I don't know the numbers.
Hmm I'm surprised at this, I would put money on a workaround will come.Latest update has closed the back door. No more derestricting through the control panel.
Let's hope so, at the moment I'm regretting updating the software.Hmm I'm surprised at this, I would put money on a workaround will come.
As I said DJI usually leave a back door.
