Can you name this dealer that ships outside Germany? I’m trying to get a bike shipped to Romania, but none of the dealers that I‘ve contacted ship internationally.
They did not. I paid by bank transfer and arranged collection and transport. Easy... Just contact some of your lokal transport company and they will pick it up and bring it to you. Took me 120EUR, one day.

I am in the U.S. and was wanting to know if anyone has input on the Ronhack.com option for bike purchase and delivery? I have read several posts referring to a successful experience obtaining a Sur Ronster from their website.

God damn that's tempting.

I just have to keep telling myself my gen3 Levo is still a great bike and I should wait a while before buying a DJI.

I checked reddit, seems a few different posts can be found of users purchasing from them

I would love to hear how it compares to the levo, everyone keeps knocking this bike as not capable and a trail bike but on paper it seems to be a levo clone, which I own and it absolutely rips.

Relevant comments below from WwC, that the bike will come to the USA in early 2025 and that other brands will have the system in the future not just amflow

I wonder if DJI has some kind of reviewer restriction on mentioning range? It seems like such an obvious thing to talk about when making a video about an e-bike, but nobody has.

I have the Pro on order in Australia and have read / viewed everything I can find including non-english reviews with translation on and it seems most reviewers are getting between 1500-1800m climbing over about 30-35km on a full charge in Turbo. If you spam the boost Im sure this will reduce range significantly. Seems to be on par with Bosch and Dyname and better than Shimano 801 with significantly more power. There are a couple of members here that can give us their real word range once they get some km in the saddle.... c'mon lads get on it!

That sounds pretty good. My most recent ride on my Levo was 26mi and 3,300 ft. I ended with I think ~15-20% battery.

I can give you a comparison between my Amflow (Lyrik / Super Deluxe) and a Levo Comp (Fox 38) in the next days and also an insight into a real range test (without payment or sponsoring).

Shipping for bikes is quite expensive ( 250+ euro)

P.s. Nu știu dacă m-aș arunca la ea fără nici un suport local
Thanks, shipping is indeed a bit steep! I know it’s a bit of a gamble, but I haven’t been able to find locally a similarly specced bike within the price range.

Can you also comment on the rattle? In case you rode an e8000 bike compare it to that? Because from reviews I watched it seemed its kinda similar (not constantly rattling, just on rough sections).

From what im gathering from reviews and riding the levo it sounds like the Amflow kinematic is more progressive than the stock levo. The more powerful motor and the around 2-3 kg less weight will be noticeable but the levo has a removable battery.

Mad how the Levo is a few years old now and still sets the benchmark for trail e-bikes. Rode one the other day and was reminded how good they are.

He mentions it in the written review: The Future of eMTBs? DJI’s Game Changing Amflow PL Carbon Pro [Video]

"1) In trail mode, I was able to manage 35-40 miles with over 4400 feet of elevation which used 85% of the battery at a 14mph average speed.

2) I was able to squeeze nearly 30 miles and 4,000 feet of elevation with an average speed of over 15mph in turbo mode.

Keep in mind this is with myself as a roughly 190lb rider, testing during the hottest heat wave of the year (over 100 degrees Fahrenheit) and with the stock tires (Maxxis Assegai EXO & Maxxis Dissector EXO+). It was impressive to see how the system performed in these oppressive temperatures."

So 190lbs/86kg
1) Trail mode extrapolated to 100% battery usage: ~ 40+miles with 5100ft of climbing. 64+km, 1500m climbing
2) Turbo mode 100% battery usage: ~ 30 miles with 4000ft of climbing. 48km, 1200m climbing

Those climbing numbers are not huge, but he is covering a lot of ground very fast. The only thing I have not seen is a DJI trail mode timed climbing, as some reviewers are stating it is as powerful competitors in their highest mode.

Electric motors are very efficient. So with similar assist the range is very similar. Its mainly down to how the bms is programmed to protect the battery and how good the quality of the cells are which can result that even two batteries of the same model provide different usable capacity.

These guys will probably publish a thorough analysis of the motor soon:

I did 230km on my Amflow last week. Trying downsize power of trail mode, its too strong for me. For now I ride eco powered up by app and auto powered down. Trail mode I use just in case I need something like boost for me. Typical range is about 1800 vm and 50km in 5 hours. Talking about trail enduro riding, no forest road xc turism. There is nothing wrong with range for sure. If you ride with 200 watts from motor, then you will get about 4 hours of riding. When I rode with my mate on Fuel exe, he spent 3 extenders and main battery while I had still some juice left. But he is 90kg, I am 77. And I had no overheating, he had three.

The factory settings for trail mode are actually already very high. This is in fact significantly more preset than Bosch, Shimano or Specialized.

Amflow PL Carbon Review - emtb-test.com

Good review.
21.2kg for the base version.

Yeah, the weight isn't that revolutionary when you consider Levo Gen 3 weight with a removable 700 wh battery: 22,1 kg

Yeah, it would be certainly too strong for me too at 75 max ready to ride. I never even used close to full assist on my shimano e8000. And that's a considerably weaker motor. The power of the amflow is mainly interesting for people being very heavy riding fireroads at speed. Because uphill on trails that much power will be hard to control. At least for me its kinda difficult at my weight/skill level/stamina to control the power of the levo or bosch gen 4 in turbo when its really steep and loose. If I switch into turbo too early or if the setting is too high the bike drops me or the rear wheel slips.
