Jeez I thought my Haibike took the crown of being the heaviest emtb at 26kg but almost 30kg is a tank!

Hi to all doing this ride on Saturday with The Hodge, he’s an excellent trail guide. He hats a muddled when it comes to left and right, also if he mentions “ it’s only a small stretch of standing water” Beware ! Don’t want to end up with a shoal of Aquamen ?

Rain pretty much all day today ..but tomorrow still looking good ..

I suppose that you could say when you are about to meet three complete strangers for a bike ride miles from home there is a certain amount of trepidation as to how everyone will get on ...
Neednt have worried though as the answer to that particular question ..was like a house on fire .
So straight away my thanks to Drew, Jack & Tony for their excellent company on what was a cracking ride ..which had a bit of everything including 500 walkers coming in the opposite direction to us after Ribblehead ..all in a good cause for a Dementia charity.( Well done all ) ..
We also got to see a steam train passing through
Ribblehead station & over the viaduct ..
Im going to post a few pics on here that maybe the other lads havent got to give ..in an effort to avoid duplication ..

Very close Zimms ..you have the correct pic ..but the wrong reason ..I did in fact take that pic ..but good to see you have your eyes on the prize ( although with the import duty you would have to pay Im not sure if its worth getting it right ..? )

It was actually a.n.other ebike rider who we saw climbing up the road from Dent Station ..each of us thinking as we werent getting any closer that he was one fit s.o.a.b.if he was on an mtb and relieved to find that he was on an "e" when he stopped for a drink after turning onto the bridleway ..
We chewed the fat for a little while and Im sure he said he was a forum member ..( but I cant remember his name )..and he seemed to be on a mission to get back to where he started at Ribblehead ..that pic was taken just after the the second gate where he came flying through like a steam train ( 1st of the day ) and thats the last we saw of him ...
