Decoy Core 3 vs Shred

What are your thoughts on Core 3 v Shred?
SLX and EP8 v XT and E8000
In Oz Shred is currently avail but is $1000 more than Core 3 which is due in the coming weeks

I would wait and buy the newer EP8 motor if it was me.

I'd go shred. It's not just XT, but the other components are better too, wheels, bars, stem, shock etc.
I really don't think you'll notice a difference between E8000 and EP8
