Cube Khatmandu pro 625 Charging socket cover

Hi I have a problem with the charge cover on my eBike. The design is very poor an dthe flap just doesnt work. It means the socket is exposed and the flap catches on the pedal bar. Anyone had this, and is there a work around? I have asked my dealer to look into it. New models (2022) dont have the same issue so I guess Cube fixed it.

The new 2022 flap isn’t much better! It fell off the first time I opened it! Got a replacement but the fitting is poor considering what it’s for.
