Another 35 miles this morning to try out my new halfords 1600 lumen front light. Wasn’t sure what to expect but I was totally amazed at how well they lit up the road. Not bad for £50.
I was in some very soft trails today and the EMTB mode was awesome.
This bike just gets better as it feels solid in comparison to my previous Giant Fathom.

I meant to ask, since you ride there, are there many natural trails in the forestry at whitelees if you go off the tracks?

I have the same from light from Halfords. 1600 lumens, very bright and a real bargain and it’s great as a USB power bank also

Hi, I’m not sure as I’ve only just started going off road with my EMTB. I’ll certainly be exploring as there’s loads of spine roads off the main trail at Whitelees.

I’ve been out a few times in total dark to try out the light and I’m blown away by how well it lights up the road/trail.

Hi, I’m not sure as I’ve only just started going off road with my EMTB. I’ll certainly be exploring as there’s loads of spine roads off the main trail at Whitelees.

Ah, nevermind then. Working nearby,so im gonna go for a ride there after work and give it a quick explore. I seem to remember reading somewhere before that there is a decent downhill single track section near Carrot farm up above the forestry, so im assuming there are probably some other trails scattered around.

Might get the chance to test out my new light also, not much daylight after work now for cycling.

Yeah will do.

Its a Lezyne Lite drive 1000.
Think it was £55-£60, and only 1000 lumens, so yours sounds like a bargain.
