Can the range extender be made to fit 2019 trance ?

Hi all I've noticed u can buy a 250wh range extender for £270 for 2020 models is there any reason I couldn't fit it to my 2019 trance maybe with a mod ?

The extender isn't for the 2020 Trance either

As for making it work, anything is possible I guess. I think the main problem to overcome is that the extender plugs into the charger socket and as you'll know, the cranks can't turn with that plug in. No idea why Giant thought that was a good idea.

I made a diy extender for a fathom. I soldered my own bullet connectors on wires so it doesn't stick out.

I'd just upgrade the battery to the larger 625wh and not have to worry about trying to jimmy the extender to somehow work
