Just want to swap over to the bigger battery.
Yes, 36v.are they the same voltage?
So they do fit?The 625 is longer than the 500. The 500 uses a spacer block (not sure the name of it) to fill the void.

And as they've suggested - do you have the spacer block ??Not sure if it bike specific or not, but I know the trek rail for example fits a 625 or a 500 with the spacer. So in this example, yes if you buy a 625 it would fit.
whatbike do you have?
I think you meant to quote/ask the OP?And as they've suggested - do you have the spacer block ??
Yup, sorry, meant to edit your text and point it at @StuckintheSpokes !!I think you meant to quote/ask the OP?
I believe the 2021 model of my bike has the 625 battery and I know the shop I bought it from told me the 625 would fit, but that was before I found out the 625 was bigger. Maybe there is a spacer inside the tube. Interesting! I'm going to go and ask again...
Yes you can. You will have to move the upper battery mount up. Here is a link to the owners manual. You just have to remove the battery rail and move the upper mount to the upper holes. https://www.cannondale.com/-/media/.../019_137373_oms my20 habit neo moterra_en.pdf. I have the 625 in my Moterra and all the Moterra share the same battery rail. There is just different mounting holes for the upper mount.Interesting! I'm on a Canondale Moterra 2020 with 500Wh (see sig for full details). I'd love to know the same question for my bike?
