I'm weighing up which bike to buy, and was just wondering on how people felt on this model as it's on my list as an option

I had a friend test it for 1 hour 15 mins and he set best times on some of his favorite sections. He was sold on it. He wants the longer travel, and a bigger range. But here in America I think the Kenevo comp is sold out until the Fall, unless a shop has one in stock. It seems like the ultimate in value, from Specialized no less. Only downside is the 500 battery instead of the 700.

I have the comp model and it is an amazing bike, fast and really steady. It is the most capable bike ever had: XC, All mountain, Enduro, Bike Park, Down Hill..?
Weakness: NX rear derailluer failed before 100 km. Besides, the shock Marzocchi bomber CR exploded before 150 km. Both cases were cover as warranty.
Highlight: bike geometry, brakes and Marzocchi Bomber Z1 fork. Now, I am converting the Z1 fork to coil (160 USD)
I bought it with 700 watt battery.
Regards,
Alvaro

Had mine from the 1st week they came out and it’s a love hate thing !
I ride Surrey hills , rogate , pirbright , swinley trails and some bike parks and from the get go I can say it’s the most fun on 2wheels . You can have fun on it wherever you ride and it can handle anything .
The only issues I’ve had have been the Marzocchi bits ( blown 2shocks and had a creaky csu ) which have been replaced under warranty , the forks went through the travel to quickly sort added a token , set the sag to 20% and its sweet . All the components have done there job fine , people have said upgrade the brakes but I’m ok with them . I was happy with the butcher tyres but heard good reviews on the Michelin ewilds so bought some and yes there’re better , faster and better grip ( tubeless at 20psi on both ) .
The motor/electrics have been good but had a few water issues but now when washing I duck tape the on/off thingy and tape over the charger port which is no big deal and that deals with that !
If you’re a more bike park DH enduro rider I would highly recommend this bike , if more a enduro , trail xc then you can but would recommend the Levo , I would rather be over biked than under ! If you got another 2k then the expert is an option but a don’t think it’s worth the extra cash !
The 500w battery is good for a 3/4 hour ride as long as you don’t use turbo constantly which I don’t and don’t really need to unless it’s a crazy steep hill ( trail mode will climb pretty good )or long fire road .
Edit : It’s a long heavy bike but on the trails it feels quite nimble and is a momentum rocket on the steep stuff !
I’m 46yrs / 5.10ft / 80kg ride the medium , also got it wrapped as no bike should come brown , the guy who approved that should be sacked immediately ?

I didn’t mind the colour at first but it gradually grated on me , of all the colours why brown ☺️

Maybe you need to see it differently ..

From a colour psychology website :

The Color Brown

The color brown is a serious, down-to-earth color signifying stability, structure and support.

Relating to the protection and support of the family unit, with a keen sense of duty and responsibility, brown takes its obligations seriously. It encourages a strong need for security and a sense of belonging, with family and friends being of utmost importance.

In the meaning of colors, brown is the color of material security and the accumulation of material possessions.

Or from Wikipedia :

Brown is a composite color which can be produced by combining red, yellow, and black[1] pigments, or by a combination of orange and black

So don't think you have a brown bike ... you have a red, yellow and black bike ... or an orange and black bike ! :)

I'd never realised poo was so colourful ..

+1 for 2020 Kenevo comp, I got mine at launch and absolutely love the thing!

I also ride the in the Surrey alps and agree with @#lazy quote below:
from the get go I can say it’s the most fun on 2wheels.

I have also only had about 87418372 issues so reliability is improving :ROFLMAO: jokes aside I have had actually had no electrical issues at all (touch wood) but I did get the Marzocchi shock bike rusting solution happen mid ride but Berkshire bikes have been incredible.
