Broken BAFANG display mount

Had a good crash yesterday I’m ok hit one bar on a tree then the other and ended up eating mud.
Broke the BAFANG display mount for the handlebars and scratched my head how to fix it.
Made a little alloy plate and glued to the back of the display and used an alloy clamp to stick to the bars .
Will look at buying a spare but don’t want the same issue so may look at a different type as there seems to be a few available

If you go over to the DIY section, one of the threads has a 3D printer file for replacing the rear of the screen / bar mount.

I think what happens is your knee knocks the display downwards and then as the bar rotates, it gets guillotined off by the top tube.
