Bosch Smart System Error 503019

Trek Rail gen 3 9.8XT displayed this error today and wouldn't stay on. it did throw it up midride a few weeks ago but switched itself on and off again and was fine. Now it won't stay on
Checked all wires and connections that i can see.

i think its something to do with undervoltage? anyone any experience?

The Motor Control is not working properly, I'd say this is internal to the motor.
