From Facebook :

V.1.1 of ADAMO678 and ADAMO19 arriving within a few tens of hours. Communication just available in the Android and iOS stores will follow. Published PDFs updated in various languages IT / EN / FR / DE / ES. These are the innovations introduced: - Display of engine temperature. - Custom Mode. It is similar to the settings that can be made with MC, but it differs because it consists of 9 levels and acceleration can be set for each level. - Variable system reactivity from -5 to +5. In the previous version it corresponds to the value 0 of this version. - Detailed statistics. Dedicated page with a lot more data. - Beep adjustment with 3 different tones + Off. - Help to restart with 6 levels + Off Have fun !!!

The e14 Rolloff has a little motor thingy on the back. Maybe that can tell the app what gear it’s in. Combined with a reprogrammed specialized remote and we’re done!

Get it done wpen

Ah, you see .. I was being stupid again .. I thought @wepn wanted to use the Adamo with the existing rohloff and use the Adamo to pause the motor for the shift... So you'd need to change the shifter to one with a shift sensor built in .. which probably doesn't exist for the rohloff type shifter.

But yeah, with the e14.. well, childs play.

Interesting this e14.
No problem for me to implement a CAN communication or even BLE using ADAMO. It would also be interesting to implement the automatic gearbox based on leg power data, pedaling cadence, engine power. I will try to contact Rolloff to see if they will give me the CAN information.

That would be a very worthwhile project. It's possible there's an agreement that may prevent that. I hope not

This would be so so good to have. Can we do it next week? I would very much like to remove unwanted cables

Cool ... that makes sense .. I thought for some reason that the E14 was an entirely different rohloff hub ! Thanks .. I feel like I'm at least now in the same book , if not on the same page ..

Installing the parts easy. Having Rohloff provide you the CAN information necessary to program it - nope. You can always ask.

That makes sense. So to me that reads as challenge & opportunity!

Rohloff aren’t able to provide CAN data but it’s logical that they wouldn’t mind seeing developers be creative.

The most difficult part would be using my Kenevo as a mule. Actually that’s not going to happen lol

I think the best way would be to work out the best location for a 2nd hand Levo/Kenevo that’s out of warranty, fit it out with E-14, put it on a Maturo dynamometer & use a CAN router to sniff around. Not easy but would be a seriously cool project

Just tried Eva 9 gear E mode. Fantastic - default is basically 5% increments in power increase/decrease on each press up or down.

I know BLEvo does this too but I don’t have a Multiremote yet

A great demonstration that the potential of apps & mods like these is far greater than simply increasing your speed limit

I took literally 30 seconds out to look at it earlier and went .. Eh, what .. what's that button ..

So here's the manual I need to read and would highly advise anyone does before they try it as there are a lot of options - a lot of which are based on icon's - so for first use would be quite confusing ..

Yes on first glance it may seem confusing but once you delve into it, especially with the assistance of the manual - thanks Z - it becomes easy & logical. Once you know the meaning of the icons it really simplifies the layout. Horizontal dark mode with the proximity sensor off works well.

So to be clear, the app works on pre 2019 Levo & pre 2020 Kenevo and is free. If you have a newer bike then you need the Adamo hardware. Of course Adamo is much faster & could be the pathway to some very interesting developments.

One thing I know that is true as of today, Levo or Kenevo with eGENESIS & BLEvo are the most advanced e-bikes on the planet.

To have the same settings of Blevo in eGENESIS, you have to set in eGENESIS:

Min=1; Eco=11; Trail=21; Turbo=76; Max=100
and use rabbit instead of rocket(more reactive).

In eGENESIS:
Eco work from Min to Trail-1
Trail work from Eco to Turbo-1
Turbo work from Trail to Max

In "outerlimits" test Eco setting of eGENESIS go from 1 to 74% of assistance when Blevo go from 1 to 20.
I'ts normal to have more more saving battery with Blevo if you cut the assistance at 20% when you set eGENESIS to cut at 74%

I'm the developer of eGENESIS

Not that there's a true practical use with a small pinion symbol in its current form but there is something very interesting, quite intriguing and thought provoking about this. It works with the BV6000.

with a barometric sensor, the ratio in the sprocket if right or too hard.

Went for a ride today to the local oyster farm to check out the Little Black Cormorants & Pied Oystercatchers. All gravel & potholes so I decided to slide around with Turbo burst using Manual, Extended Manual & Auto 80/100. Loose rocks & pebbles everywhere, it felt just perfect swerving & occasionally into massive craters using gears 9 to 13 on the Speedhub. Really enjoying the different approach.

Not sure if my alternate bike will be Levo or Kenevo 2020 - I’ll know Tuesday - but it will have eGENESIS. I don’t need to increase the speed limit - there are so many other features that make the bike even better.

I read the manual last night for it .. all the confusing icons and options all now make perfect sense and are actually really well thought out and entirely logical ! To get the most out of it and avoid initial confusion, it's definitely an RTFM app.

I didn't spend much time appreciating the "auto" and the graph settings of the manual . Did you leave all that on default or did you change things ? You said 80/100 ?

Are you using the phone on a mount and taking any info from (I think it suggests gear changes an things, especially in the extended 6/9 speed mode) it or just stuffed in pocket and using it as your power control brain ?
