Bike insurance

So, after spending for an emtb, I assumed my homeowners would cover it if stolen. It doesn't and I can't find anyone who does. Certain companies will write a policy just for it $600/yr!!!!!! Anyone have any success getting your bike covered under homeowners theft insurance? Sorry I know everyone hates insurance.

I love insurance! Im with Velosure in Australia. I recently wrote off my Kenevo and getting a new one this week, so I’m great full I got it. With all the mods I have it cost me $1000 per year.

I’m in the uk and took out home ins with ESURE , I’ve added on a kenevo at £5000 and the cost in total is £211 !

I'm in UK. My home insurance would not cover my new Levo and specialist cycle insurance quotes were more than my home insurance. I had received a Tredz voucher for 2 months free insurance so took that out to tide me over. I discovered Litelok Sold Secure Gold (all cycle insurance that I know of require the use of something of this standard in their T&Cs) wearable belt, £85 in a Black Friday sale plus £60 a year for theft protection for any bike costing up to £10,000. I'd already joined CyclingUK, £24 a year as a Senior which gives me £5 million public liability plus legal assistance (for a legal bike but let's not go down that rabbit hole).
