Bike Bling

So who has the bike with the most bling on. We all like to add bits and pieces to our bikes that improve it or just look good.
My bike is blue and I have a blue and red theme going on. I have added stickers + red headset cap, red tyre valves, red pedals and have ready to fit Hope red cranks and Hope F22 red pedals. Thinking of upgrading brakes to Hope Tech4 V4 which of course will be red. Pics to follow when I get cranks fitted.

Edit: have loads of upgrades but all entirely functional, no 'pretty' stuff.

I have a brown theme..............mud on the wheels, mud on the tyres, mud on the frame..............bars stay mostly black though

I must be in a minority, I never bought any of my bikes any bling. Just replaced parts and tyres Have friends that dresses their bikes to the nines though

It would seem that the correct use of the term "bling" is not adequately covered in Dentist school...

Bling is pointless shiny tat with no additional functional value, not high end components.
For example;
Oil slick rotor bolts = bling
Hope Tech 4 V4 Brakes ≠ bling, however red bits = bling

I see a lot of photos on here of peaples bikes with coloured parts fitted, like me of things need replacing you replace or upgrade and might like a certain colour etc.
The ones that slate putting colour on your bike would they be happy if a bit broke and the only replacement was a pink bit.

When I get a choice, I go for satin black. I will not pay extra for bling.
But some years ago, I had to replace one of the decals on a fork leg. When looking around I found that Fox did what I would call "stealth" decals - black of a different surface reflectivity to the black paint on the fork legs. I bought a set and was so pleased with how they looked that I bought some for the shock too (probably the one bit of non-essential bling I ever bought. It pleased me a lot that people had to look very closely to tell what sort of suspension I had. You had to get the angle of the light just right!
