Battery won't install

Hi

I've just got a haibike allmtn 7, took the battery out to charge but I can't get it to install properly.


I can get the battery into the frame but it won't lock into place with the key.

Am I just doing something silly? Lol

If it's anything like our Trek Rail battery locks, we have to hold the key in the unlocked position then while pushing hard on the battery turn the key to the lock position. If we don't push hard on the battery the key won't turn and lock.

I don't have a Haibike, so this is generic advice.
The end of the battery that you push in first may have the connections at that end. Are you certain that the connections have been made and that you have not inadvertently bent one of the connectors, thus preventing the battery from properly seating and hence problems at the other end?

Sorted now thanks all, I wasn't pushing the top of the battery in far enough whilst turning the key.
