Who all runs a bash guard on their Trek Rail 9.8? im trying to decide on the best option for protection. Looking at the Rockguardz bash guard and e*thirteen. Question, are there any others out there I can order in the States?

I really like the rockguardz but always cautious when ordering out of country. Let me know or see those bash guards and brands available. Thank you in advance!

The Rockguardz one looks good, I could do with one of those, I've got a few chips out of the cooling fins on the motor housing from rock strikes

I have used Amgos bashguards on all my bikes. They are the toughest and offer the best protection. I had a Rockguardz on my Kenevo and it was very thin and brittle. It looked cool but it wasn’t very secure, scratched the frame got hit by a rock, smashed and fell off!

Here’s the link to the Amygos website, they ship worldwide:

Thanks… I’ll check this out, does it only fasten to the bike by the two straps or have screws also?

It attaches with two very strong Velcro straps. I have had three of these guards on Gen 1 & 2 Kenevos and a Levo Gen 3 and they have all been excellent. They saved me a fortune in broken motor covers! Super secure, very strong plastic and lined with foam for a layer of cushioning. They aren't very pretty but it's function over form for bashguards every time!
