Was thinking about mobile, but I dont like to putting phobe on handlebars, does not look good
Mount it on the top of the stem.

I've got an iphone in a protective waterproof case with a mount on the base which fits into the Garmin Cap mount with a Garmin halyard in case you knock the phone off in a crash. Works a treat, much better than the Garmin as you can use your own favourite navigation App. The protective cases are tough.

This is my solution. 2 water bottle holes in the toptube, rubber rivet inserts, and a carbon plate with velcro. Then a cheap but thight fitting rubber case with velcro on the backside for the phone. Bombproof even in the worst downhill rattle, and touchdown tested😂

Strip of industrial velco with self adhesive strip directly to the top tube of the E10 and the opposite velcro on the Iphone case saves drilling holes. Works a treat as well. My case has a small safety lanyard which I clip around the top tube or stem.

True. But I wanted the option to mount a tool / fliplock bottle or something else I dont need 😂 on the toptube. So I decided to drill and place rivets.

The top tube is slightly rounded, do cut the Velcro into 20mm strips and put them about 20mm ( or what ever suits your frame ) apart to allow the flat of the case to sit down almost against the top tube ( leaving a small gap to allow for frame vibration which the Velcro is really good at isolating from ).

if you are going to put any heavy items on it then Thaebers use of a riv would be good.

The new DPE181 remote control without a screen, but with bluetooth. If you need parameters, you connect an old smartphone or your remote control. There is a navigator on your smartphone, can you install a navigator on your remote control?

Do you like this button? Is the button convenient to use? This button does not have USB, how to charge a smartphone?

Assuming there is a smartphone app. Then you still need a module to communicate with CAN. Maybe you can make friends with the phone via Bluetooth with CAN? If it is possible, then Dado will be a very rich person if he writes an application for a smartphone. The app is easy to sell. It will not cost as much as the device. And they will be able to buy it all over the world. I'll be the first customer.

The BT Buttons, do you need a display to interface to the motor or can you go direct ? And cost ?
It is connected to motor over cable. BT is for connecting with mobile. Just in case missunderstanding. ;)

Buttons are good, ergonomic (I do like higher edge on end of buttons, so easy to operate). Need to check how to lower led power - shines too much.
As there is microcontroller with BT and CAN driver, it is little higher - see picture, but perfectly match into hole in new XT lever. (Can not go over the throttle case though)

Plastic case looks better, also quality of plastic. LEDs are as is - old school (could have been 2 small 1 line OLED displays) There is rubber on bottom half ring, also a hole for cable exit.
Dont wanna voluntary try waterproofing with wap wash. ;) But hope, it will be better now.

These buttons was exactly what I was looking for. To handle all CAN traffic. To mimic whole Bafang CAN protocol would take a lot of time without documentation.

Thaeber, thanks.
Digging into it, lot of overnights. ;)

Dado, any plans to develop an App for the phone? I would buy it anytime ;).
Viva la Velcros i am going to try them soon.Basically you can save around 1 Kg because the battery case is around 800gr and the lock and mounting plates of the battery are also 440gr or so .And if we make a battey around 600wh than we can have a bike around 20Kg or so with the m510 and dengfu frame

I doubt the case is 800g. I just weighed the original Dengfu battery using 2 different scales, result is 3.89 - 3.91 kg. That’s pretty good for a 840 Wh battery, containing 65 x 18650 cells at 48,3 g nominal weight each. Thats 3.14 kg for the cells only. Plus welding plate material, cell holders, wiring, BMS. My friends 720 Wh Fantic battery is above 4 kg. And the tiny 630 Wh Shimano battery is 3,54kg. Considering the price of the Dengfu battery, this is a damnd good package!
