Perfect, thank you for the detailed responseYes, Gen2 Levo does not have UDH, so you can only make an regular AXS upgrade, cheapest option is "SRAM GX Eagle AXS Upgrade Kit ". I have made this upgrade about 4 years back when GX AXS was released and it was one of the best upgrades of my bike, this system is very robust, still shifting perfectly like on day one and I've replaced at least several bent derailleur hangers ...
And on 2020 Comp you now have 11sp drivetrain so you need to swap the cassette+chain for at least SX/NX Eagle if you want to keep original Roval wheels/hubs, but if you want to have cassette GX or up you will also need to replace a Shimano HG driver for an XD driver .... or even replace the whole wheel for one with a ratchet version of the rear hub - more reliable and easy maitanence ...
From what I understand you don't need to change it but wanted to make sureDid you miss the chainring over there?
Thank you, I won't name them but I thought so and am dissapointed as I've bought 2 Levos from them (one of them a S works) so that is dissapointing. I'm going to do it myself then as I'm upgrading the rear shock anyway so can do it then. @salko thank you for the great help and quick responses! You absolutely don't need to touch the motor to remove the old cable housing, but you must loose the cable clamp which is behind the shock, so you must remove the shock (I think removing the front shock bolt is enough and you lower the shock a bit) to reach this clamp ...
That shop is trying to rip you off!
I would imagine so but it's defo not going back in the AXS system is awesome compared to the factory fitted SRAM!You could get housing out but I think it may be a lot harder to get it back in. Hopefully I'm wrong.
Ok not often I'm right but im wrong again. I just had a pain of a job with cables it's still fresh in my mind. I didn't know what AXS was well I thought Bluetooth or something similar.I would imagine so but it's defo not going back in the AXS system is awesome compared to the factory fitted SRAM!
