Hope you’re ok, and get through it without any difficulties ??
Like many, I developed a ridiculous cough a couple of weeks back. Relentless, and wouldn’t seem to shift. Even now, I still have the remains of it.
I had 2 days where I felt floored, and spent most of them in my bed. High temperature, and aching body.
I carried on as normal - as far as I could. Was it a standard winter cold / flu... or was it something more sinister? Who knows?
Maybe one day there will be a test, and I can find out if I had it or not. If I did, I was lucky and had a fairly mild dose.
Crap ! .. Stay strong @Shifty !!!
Did you notice any other symptoms before the cough ? How are you feeling other than the cough ? Ok I hope.
I take it you don't have an draw full of out of date chloroquine, though from my experience the side effects of malarial drugs and long term effects can be worse than the malaria.
Get well soon Shifty. Wishing you a speedy recovery.I thought it might be helpful if anybody with an EMTB like me has any questions on what it is like to have. I can answer it here?
as a note I have by U.K. definition the virus. With pretty much a continuous cough that started up on Saturday.
it’s sad that anybody believes that Self centred golden headed knob cheese.
Was that the feeling of fluid on the lungs or excess phlegm?I’ve had a lot of people contact me and say they had bad throats and fever about 5-6 weeks ago so probably had it already. I did too.
I can tell you that the dry cough is totally different and the feeling of drowning is very scary and odd. So I wouldn’t take it for granted that you have. lots of hot drinks ease the coughing
........... We are all fine again but for example I lost all my smell sense as well as my ability to taste and it is just only now it is slowly returning to normal.......................
Did I have Covid 19 I will probably never know but it sure was different than anything else I have tried so far...............

Fri 21st feb I was ruff , aching all over so when I got home had a bath and went straight to bed . Spent all day Saturday aching , sweating and shivering ! My partner was abit worried as she was going to Italy with work for a week , late that Saturday night . But I convinced her I’d battle through it and she should go . Man I’ve never felt so bad ( I’ve also had flu a few times ) , this was bad ! Was relieved to wake Sunday morning with a bad headache and a sore throat which turned into a painful cough which hurt so much my stomach muscles were sore ! Don’t remember smell/taste though as didn’t eat .I’ve had a lot of people contact me and say they had bad throats and fever about 5-6 weeks ago so probably had it already. I did too.

Your preventions are shown as myths by the WH Organisation and are dangerous. It’s dangerous to peddle them. The new scientist states that it needs water at least 60’c. As you can’t wash your hands in this, that’s why you need Hot water, soap and 20 seconds as recommended by WHO. Hot liquids you drink don’t kill it as the virus is in your upper respiratory tract. You get a sore throat by dry coughing 24-7! Plus another myth about using a handrier or hairdryer is another bad myth. See WHO myth section.Deleted by moderation
The WHO has dropped the ball so badly and so often with this that I am starting to ignore anything coming from them.Your preventions are shown as myths by the WH Organisation and are dangerous. What? The virus hates heat and dies if it is exposed to temperatures greater than 80°F (27°C). Therefore hot drinks such as infusions, broths or simply hot water should be consumed abundantly during the day.
