Interested to see how you get on with the Rockshox coil. I fancy the Super Deluxe Ultimate air shock, but not sure if it’ll fit. I think the reservoir is about the same size on yours.

I also don’t have a range extender - but may buy one in summer, so I want to make sure the shock fits with it.

I've bought the range extender with the bike as thst was also discounted . will experiment with it see if can fit other ways .. but im not going to count on it fitting . the cane creak will be a good shock anyway if i do end up with that .

I guess I have the advantage of an XL frame - so maybe a little bit more height between the shock and the top of the range extender.
It doesn’t look like there is a lot of room though!

Could work . I do think the piggy back on coil sticks out further than the normal deluxe ultimate none coil .

Invisiframe turned up today .The material used seems different to what I used for my last 3 bikes . It seems half as thin . Or it could be in my head as they are using thinner backing to stick the material on .

I fetched the bike today , stuck some pedals on it when i got home and had a go around my block which has 3 hills lol as i live on a hill . I like it alot .. will be great once this is done ..

i did a slight weigh on the stock wheels against my carbon Nextie wheels .

front wheels

Roval 29 alloy with tubes and 200 sram disc and 2.3 tyre 2525g

Nextie carbon 29 34mm wide DT swiss 240s, tubless , XTR ice tech 203 disc , 2.5t dhf 3c 2050g

front a whole 475g saving ,

Rear

Roval 29 alloy with tubes and 180 sram disc ,NX Cassette and 2.3 tyre 3314g

Nextie carbon 29 34mm wide DT swiss 240s 54t, tubeless 2.6 perg , XTR ice tech 180 disc XX1 Eagle Cassette ,2311g

a saving of 1003g

just the wheels im saving 1478g .. and that not even chaning the tyres to 2.3 .. will keep the 2.5 on the front and change to a 2.3 on the rear of the carbon wheel .

I did my stock Roval Traverse 30mm wide carbon wheels the other day...
This was with a baggage scale, so probably not the most accurate at the 2-3kg range since they're probably designed more for 16-25kgs!!
Can try it on my smaller scales next time they're off though.

Front - with 203mm Magura rotor and DHF 29 x 2.5 tyre... and 120ml of Stan's Racing Sealant (and some dirt!) - 2.16kg

Rear - with 180mm Magura rotor, XX1 cassette, and DHRII 29 x 2.3 tyre... and 110ml of Stan's Racing Sealant (and some dirt!) - 2.32kg

Im there or there abouts .. my rear will be lighter once i change the 2.6 tyre out for a 2.3 . going to keep the 2.5t on the front to keep some weight there .

ive just finished invisiframing it now . so its just to cut steerer on the new lyriks and bleed the xtr brakes as they lever need changing around anyway due to the euro fit .

Sneak peak pics . Thinking of putting my coil On & leave the extender off if coil don’t fit . I think it’s 50-50 with coil fitting .
Just got to bleed XTR brakes now but can’t be arsed today .. had a test ride using the original front brake just to see how the magnet was on the back and I’m blown away by this bike .. yea all be it it was only a 2 mile ride around my block but couldn’t go to far due to being illegal with only front brake on .

The axs. Can you set up the right point ginger trigger on the back of the shifter to control the reverb ? That way you you can co told everything from the right control pod and have a clean cockpit on the left ?
So shift with thumb... dropper with point finger ?

No - the finger button is just the same as the top of the thumb part. It’s like a rocker, where pushing forward with your thumb also presses the finger part back in. Both motions click the same internal switch if that makes sense?

No .. the dropper remote has only 1 paddle .. where the shifter has 2 paddles . Impossible to do what your asking ..‘

All finished ..
Tested with oem rear shock and now coil shock .. I managed to get the extender to fit with the coil shock by taking the bottle cage off and using the 2 black plastic washers that are in the inside and put both washers on the bottom outside lifting the bottom of that cage up and it resulting it having a gap and not touching the coil against the extender .
Now then the pics .
Pics shows the bike with and without the coil shock .

Question... why did you put ENVE M70 decals on your wheels?
Because they look good why ? Your the only one to ask that !and from experience the wheels on it are better than any enve I’ve had or my mates have had .
to be honest they weren’t the original rims I had ordered as I ordered rims from them with there decals and my colour and they sent me rims that looked orange and not red so they sent me these blank rims for less than half the price as it was half and half fault .. as when the showed me the decals they looked ok but when I got them they were crap ..

And I’ve still got the orange/gold rims as decals can’t be removed unless sanded off . I can keep them as spare or sell them .
