Can you provide us anything more specific regarding timing? (month, quarter) as riding seasons can vary greatly across the U.S.

But unno bikes are weird af with that massive seat mast thing they have going on that doesn't let you use a long dropper.

D
Yeah, it's weird. Unno used to be really cutting edge progressive bikes, pushing the envelope of geometry, which the main guy behind the company (Caesar Rojo if I recall correctly) did in his previous work for other bike companies too. Now they're kind of missing the boat with a seat mast that doesn't allow for the cutting edge posts. And it's especially weird, because there doesn't seem to be any reason for a seat mast that long. For example, some companies have suspension linkages that require certain mounting points high up on the bike, that may limit how low you can make the clamp for the seatpost. Unno has all the suspension contained in a very small area near the BB, so I can't see any reason why the damn seatmast is so tall. 🤷‍♂️ To their credit, they do have a very low top tube and great standover clearance, and to some degree, that makes the seat mast look even taller than it truly is. But still, when you measure it out, it is behind other companies in terms of dropper post capacity for a given height rider.

Yes they have a large base model in stock for a demo and they are taking orders but no in house stock.
Wow, they have one in stock already? That is fast! Do you have any sort of certainty as to if they are part of the legit launch of Amflow bikes in the USA, or if they are grey marketing them as it appears a few others have been doing for the past 6mos? With how common warranty issues are on e-bikes in general (hopefully DJI is going to be better than average in this regard, but who knows at this point 🤷‍♂️ ) I am very wary of buying through a channel that won't have robust after sale support.

I purchased my Amflow from Ronhack.com and would do business with them again.

How is their after sales service so far?

D
I haven’t needed service or warranty on the bike. But I did buy some Amflow accessories, such as a bolt kit and axles to have spares on-hand since getting spares from China isn’t like going to your local shop. They air freight shipped to me no-charge and the parts arrived in 3 days. I couldn’t be happier with their service so far.

FWIW, not sure we would see any Amflow over there but something interesting to know: Biden administration finalizes US crackdown on Chinese vehicles yesterday.

Everything that is connected is supposedly a threat to USA, so they ban all smart cars/trucks from Chinese - don't matter if it is assemble or partially assemble on US ground, not sure if it would applied to smart bike. Should be enforce around '27 if I get it correctly.
Yes bike is not a car/truck but you see their mindset.

As always it is also a hidden (illegal) economic protectionism behavior.
Well, this comment hasn't aged well has it?
