Don't know anything about the Amflow's, but if you check out the Android SDK code for the drones, the same error code is used for :

"%battery_index Battery overcurrent when charging" then it notes "Check charging device"

On some bikes you can do things like hold down the power for 10 or 20 seconds and it will reset the battery, not sure if you can do this on the Amflow's or not.

The other thing to try would be disconnecting the charger then trying different combinations.

Like Plug charger into the mains first then the bike.

Plug it into the bike, then the mains.

Try it plugged into a different wall socket on a different circuit in case there's something else weird going on.

Obviously check the connections are all clean/dry/not contaminated and connected properly.

The code if anyone wants to search for Error codes - which presumably have some cross correlation with the same back end ?

Have attached the code as a txt file as it's too long to post and 99.99999% of people won't want to look at it anyway :)

Dear Dandare, to address your battery charging issue, if possible, we suggest visiting one of our authorized stores for cross-testing and troubleshooting, and to receive the necessary after-sales service. If that's not possible, please send the following details to [email protected]. We'll pass this on to our senior engineers to identify the problem and offer you a solution:
1.Bike SN
2.Where you purchased the bike
3.Pictures or videos of the error
4.When the issue happened or be repeated
5.All log files from your bike
6.Your location

You can export the log files by following the steps below:
1. Press and hold the power button in the lower part of the control display for 2 seconds to power on the bike.
2. Connect the USB-C port on the control display to a computer via a USB-C to USB-A cable.
3. The computer will display a USB drive notification.
4. Open the USB drive folder, package all files in the folder, and export the package.

Note:
1. Whether the log files are the latest can be identified based on their sequence numbers. The larger the sequence number, the later the log file.

2. Before you can export the log files of the electric drive system, you must power on the control display (unlocking is not required). Otherwise, the computer will not display the USB drive folder.

3. Log files can be exported only by using a USB-C to USB-A cable. USB-C to USB-C cables are not supported now.

4. For Mac users, you’ll need to use a docking station first (to go from C to A port) and then connect with an A-C cable.

5.Normally, data exports at 20 Mb/s. If it’s running slow, try a different cable or computer.

6.Usually, valid data is over 1 GB. If the data is only a few hundred KB, please check if anything was missed.

I never thought what you plugged in first would matter . But I had to test my cairn adventure battery and video it. Pthey said plug in battery first then plug in to wall then switch power on. Whereas on levo it's never missed a beat what ever way I do it .

it does not matter what order you connect things in if the main power supply if off. Connecting everything and then turning on the main supply should be the procedure for any electrical device.

Depending on how "smart" the charger is will depend on how much it likes just being plugged in. Some batteries will have the charge circuit as part of the battery and the "charger" is simply a switch mode supply. However others the charger will be a charger handling the full cycle onboard and will like have a canbus,Uart or I2C data bus from the battery's internal BMS to monitor state of charge and feedback on the process. This could easily have issues just plugging in as your potentially missing the handshake on boot of the supply.

It should never be a safety issue unless someone has done something really silly but as stated the safest is to start powered off however we are all guilty of just plugging in.

My experience with my Bosch CX chargers is that once everything is connected and I then switch on the power there is a delay of a few seconds before the LED Remote and Kiox respond......suggesting to me that it is the charger that is running a check routine before it allows power to the battery. At nearly £100 the charger clearly consists of more than a transformer circuit! I would be surprised if any modern charger from the main brands is any different.

I would actually expect the opposite but with some safety in the adapter.

Offloading the full cycle to the charger does add complexity. For instance the charge cycle has to monitor and shift from Constant Current to Constant voltage at the end of the charge based on pack and cell voltages, this is best done at battery in the BMS as close to the cells as you can as you also want to monitor temperatures etc..

Iv not dug into my Bosch charger but I would expect it to behave like an EV charger where the full charging cycle is done on battery but there is handshake needed to tell the "charger" to enable its output. Basically on power on checks are done on BMS side on the pack health and state of charge, the adapter is then given the go ahead to kick in once its all passed.
