I've got everything from 24" to 29"....and as long as the tyre fits the rim and it's fun to ride, I don't care about wheel size
I've always hated plus tyres on any bike but still prefer the characteristics of a 26" front wheel to a 27.5 or 29" as their initial turn in and direction change is quicker.most people ive met that have moaned about a 29" being lazy in turns are running to wide a tyre
Get your balloon tyres off put some proper tyres on and get riding we dont need anymore than 2.4" tyres on anything compound and the right tread for the job is more important .
Pretty hardcore..that saddle though has already brought tears to my eyes..just need some Fox 76's on the front to iron things out a bit and jobs a goodunView attachment 70189 Just got my new mullet set up, was gonna give it a go at dalby, watcha reckon ?
Well I suppose after 2 years it was worth another reply ..even though its hardly groundbreaking news ..27.5 and 29er inch wheels were introduced for improved traction and obstacle handling. 27.5-inch bikes are often seen as more playful and fun on the trail, making them popular among riders who enjoy tricks and jumps. Moreover, this bike often has quicker acceleration.
