So I put a 27.5 on the rear, and in theory the speedo should be slightly off. Am I correct on this assumption? Does the speedo read from the magnet on the rear wheel? I know I can change the wheel diameter in Blevo, but not in MC, I guess I have to take it in to the shop to change that. Or will changing it in Blevo change it in the MC as it might write to the bike itself?????

Both the 27.5 and 29er "wheel size" will change quite considerably just depending on what size tyres you're running.

Ideally, you'd need to pick a point on the wheel/tyre - mark the floor. Roll it one revolution. Mark the floor - measure.

You can in threory work it out from tables, but each tyre brand ultimately has different sizing.

And then yes, on a Spesh (unless it's a 1.2 or 1.3) you'd need to get the bike shop to change the wheel size.

I changed my SL to 27.5 wheels then took it to the bike shop to have the speedometer calibrated. It is accurate now.
