Hi Gordon,

Mine was super "draggy" too....when brand new. I would also agree, its likely just seals and I would guess also, the grease "packing in" to the gearing.. For me also, smoothed right out, after some riding and "breaking in"

Not sure if I agree any "drag" is from the motor, probably everything else, and the drag then, wouldn't be then be a function of low speed, but high. The only friction in the motor, would be (or should be) the ball bearings.

Probably not understanding your post too....

Cheers.
I agree -I noticed at beginning bike was very draggy over the limit but yesterday seemed lot easier- was cycling at 17 /18 mph in uk- limit is 15.5.

Ha! :) nice to feel like, Ned Overend, right?... just an "old" guy killing it, on the trail.

Nice, I've never got 37 miles so far, but I am pretty much always riding on turbo.

Cheers "Ned"
I am riding auto / trail/ some turbo -but my weight is 55 kilos -I would make a very good race jockey ! That’s why my mileage on bike is high

Ugh. Such a Slow speed limit over there in Europe :( I guess fine for uphill.. but for flats ... some, must want more.

You could (assuming the risks involved) delimit it. Mine tops out at about 33 mi/hr or 53 km/hr now, before I run out of gearing.

Hey there. I’m also in the US and want to order the Amflow...mainly bc of all the rave reviews on the motor. But Im deciding between the Amflow and an enduro type SL emtb like Decoy SN or Kenevo bc:
1. I currently ride a Levo SL, I'm trying to get a bike that's complimentary to it. Amflow may be too similar in geo/travel?
2. I do want an enduro bike with high stack height, slack HTA, etc. for better descending.
3. Although I do appreciate more power and range, I don't know if I necessarily crave it like many riders. I want to make sure I'm choosing a bike based off of my personal needs.

Do you think the Amflow descends similar to a Decoy SN or enduro type bike, like some youtubers say? I haven't ridden any of these options, I'm just speaking based off of assumptions.

My opinion is - amflow is incredible. I love it it. But it’s not and enduro bike. I describe it as trail bike with incredible uphill power . It’s light agile and has amazing handling- but it’s not a downhill enduro bike. If downhill blasting is your thing it’s better to get another bike - if you want to smash uphill ascents and love idea of light bike - get amflow.
