Hi Gordon,

Mine was super "draggy" too....when brand new. I would also agree, its likely just seals and I would guess also, the grease "packing in" to the gearing.. For me also, smoothed right out, after some riding and "breaking in"

Not sure if I agree any "drag" is from the motor, probably everything else, and the drag then, wouldn't be then be a function of low speed, but high. The only friction in the motor, would be (or should be) the ball bearings.

I agree -I noticed at beginning bike was very draggy over the limit but yesterday seemed lot easier- was cycling at 17 /18 mph in uk- limit is 15.5.

Ha! nice to feel like, Ned Overend, right?... just an "old" guy killing it, on the trail.

Nice, I've never got 37 miles so far, but I am pretty much always riding on turbo.

I am riding auto / trail/ some turbo -but my weight is 55 kilos -I would make a very good race jockey ! That’s why my mileage on bike is high

Had great ride today . 37 miles. 34 per cent battery left. Bike is so great. . Love demolishing these hills. Suspension and electronic gear shifting fantastic on this bike.

That's the kind of range I would like. Probably need to lose a few stone
