Hey all after a year of waiting I think my Kenevo will arrive in November. Wondering if anyone has any info about the 2022 models. My shop said the frame is the same as well as the motor but the shock is the air one and it’s got a 12 speed now.

So I have been digging and this looks like its the new bike. Specialized Kenevo Comp SATIN FOREST GREEN / PINE GREEN S5 - Alpha Bikes From what I heard it looks about right. Gears look like a 12 speed and has the air shock (but so do the newer pics of the 21).

Given the ongoing shortage of almost all components and the cost of shipping like 4-6x what it was at the start of 2020 I’m not surprised.

Given the bike looks mostly the same that shouldn’t be different than the 21? Do you know the weight of that?
No I don’t have the weight of that. But the build looks similar. Extra weight maybe from the Grid Gravity tyres (about 1.35kg each), one up V2 dropper, 12 speed gears, 220mm rotors.

That’s got to be a typo though otherwise it’s the first eMTB that’s tipped 30kg.

With normal Specialized product cycle (3 years), new FF Kenevo will be MY2023.

And Z1 is a great fork.
No the Z1 is a basic but good fork and not one that should come on a £5800 bike !
Fox/rs 38’s are great forks !

Its just a filler...they are just kidding around...

As in messing around regarding the weight or the bike itself?

can’t find anymore info on the web ?

do you think we’ll see these in the UK this year?

There are so interesting bikes hitting the market now that rival the Kenevo IMO. This new Haibike looks interesting (well Haibike and looks are pretty subjective  ) and at 6.5k with 750wh battery and the Ohlins bling bit of a deal

Theres also the Husky, though not a bike that appeals to me

No idea about the UK but I have one on order that’s supposed to be delivered in November to New Zealand. With the way shipping is going I won’t be shocked if that’s delayed.

Maybe I’m not enough of an ebike convert yet but both of these look way too thic for my taste which is why I’m going for the Kenevo. Positive others will enjoy them though!
