Looks like a couple of images online of the new Whytes, looks like they are making them 160mm rather than 150mm.

Looks tasty - wonder if they have improved the cable routing and relocated it from under the motor

Interesting. So I assume no V2 E-150, but a V1 E-160 instead.

Wonder if they'll put a ZEB on the E-160 S or stick with a Yari?

No gear cable hanging down...

Now an E-160 with a 38/Zeb up front would be an interesting proposition - I really liked the E150 when I tried it.

Just found it - Fork - RockShox ZEB 27.5", 160mm Travel on the E-160 S
12-speed 11-50 GX
WTB Verdicts

And a price bump to £5,099.99
Just seen it, I was going from the Whyte website and they haven’t got the 160S on there.
they seem to of bumped the price of the 180 by £1000

I can only see the E160-S on Rutland site.
ZEB, 12 speed GX, price bump to £5099.99

Interesting, Rutland also show 2021 E-150's with Shimano.

BUT (and I hope it is a misprint) Battery on the S is indicated as down to 500Wh.

"and with a powerful 500 Wh battery, range anxiety shouldn’t be an issue. " erm... Hello ?

More money, less range... what are they thinking, other than to upsell the RS ?
Hopefully a mistake as Rutland have done the same for the 180 S, and on the Whyte web site the 180 S has a 625.

The E160RS looks great! ATB have 12 of them landing on these shores next week... I think one of them might have my name on it.

My Whyte dealer checked and confirmed today all the new Whyte eMTBs still come with 625 Wh batteries ?? I've been told they might be here in July too. E-150 29er will follow in September.

i wonder if it's worth emailing whyte to confirm the cable issue was sorted?

SteveT999 i was saying in the other thread I might go for the 160rs, but can't decide on medium or large. I am 5.10. What did you go if you don't mind me asking? I looked at a levo one day in large with a reach of 455 and I noticed whytes medium is 455. I have a whyte 905 in large and sometimes think this feels to big when I get back on my medium merida ebike

I have been looking at getting another ebike for ages and I always come back to the whyte. Had and have some of their normal bikes and they never once give me any issues and seem to not break apart on my fat ass!

I’m 5ft 10 and ride the medium whyte S150 which is very similar on size to the E-150 I have the 150mm dropper completely slammed to get the correct seat post length for my leg with the large I would not be able to use the dropper to it’s full extension So can depend on your leg length if you can go large.

I have tested the E-150 and the medium felt a good fit for me

I presume from your comment they are not assembled in the UK ?

No. Taiwan, like lots of other stuff, I’m guessing. Will have to scour my 629 for a label...

I got told today that preorders should land end of August??
My LBS ordered 1 of the 12 earlier and they said it would be in next week... I’m waiting for an 802 for Mrs K which is also due in next week so maybe the 160 is coming sooner as there’s a shipment already in place ?‍♂️

31" leg, as my upper body is a little longer!

Whats your inside leg? Stand over on both sizes is a 822 which is around 32 inches.

I think with me being 5,10 and with a 31" leg I will go with a medium. I rang rutland and they seem to do a 30 day test so if I wasn't happy I can return it and get a large. Never used them before is their CS any good?

Just looking this over again and I can't seem to get over that stand over height? Am I reading the specs right, as it states 822mm which is 32 inches. How on earth is someone at 5,6 which a medium starts at going to fit that off the seat never mind me with a 31" leg.

Have two dealers having a look for stock tomorrow for me.

SteveT999 can you stand over your bike? As the 150 is 31" and you have a 29" leg?
