The white and red looks nice but to be honest, I was oot when the price was leaked.

Let’s face Specialized command a premium price. Many people think that’s ok which is fair enough I suppose.

I’d like to see the day when frames are sold separately tbh. Not just for Specialized either.

Wow. This has pretty much made up my mind to keep the 2019 expert I just picked up. Looking at the new Levo numbers I just don't see it being meaningfully different other than the seat angle.

Yes the Z1 is a Rhythm 36.

The fitgrip damper is excellent, only surpassed by Grip2 and only marginally. The setup time for fitgrip is so much easier. The Grip2 damper can be fitted to the rhythm as a direct swap.

I hope they do a single crown model with a 700wh battery. I only say Meh as its exactly what we where told it was going to be months ago, effectively a Levo evo, and that no bad thing, but its got some serious rivals out there now - interested to see what the weight and geometry is.

Australia gets the Expert in Black/Black. Very nice.
It’s a Levo evo! and for what it is it’s a great bike.
For all the gravity leaning guys this is just perfect. The ability to hit bigger stuff with the security of a stronger fork and now a bigger battery to get those shuttle runs out!
It also doubles as a great trail bike!
For the people that think you can’t ride trails with a dual crown, your all wrong, very wrong!

As for the real Kenevo, well it’s still a very solid bike. It was always designed as a downhill bomber with the added ability to climb like a monster truck! Sure it’s not as lightweight or agile as a Levo but it fits in very well in all areas.
For the money saved on a cheap outgoing Kenevo you could put that towards some very tasty mods to turn the Kenevo into an all out assault weapon!

Either way it’s a win win really.

I would have loved a Levo EVO with 29” wheels

It’s a great trail bike? When did you ride it?

Yes it’s possible to ride trails with a dual crown. However it sucks when climbing steep technical climbs with switchbacks, which is what I have to climb on my local trails to get to the downhills.

Hmm interested to see the geo, but if I was going to “upgrade” the Norco range VLT seems to tick more boxes for me at first glance

my bud has a Haibike down hill with fox 40's no problem with switch backs you just need to learn how to ride with the Duel Crown forks

Well depends of what you call a great trail bike really.
I run 200mm back and front on my Kenevo and so far it does everything I’ve thrown at it.
While I won’t be entering any enduro/XC races in it as it wouldn’t be as good. It still does any of those trails to a standard most people would be fine with.
Let’s be honest here, the kind of people that buy this bike will not be looking to do tight uphill switchbacks at a pace that would win them trophies but it can be done. If my fat ass Kenevo with DH specs can do it then the new Levo Evo surely can shit it in.

Also to clarify I do not have a fat ass, I was referring to my Kenevo which weighs 27.5kgs. I am built like a grey hound and have no problems throwing her around.
