I heard from reliable source that the new Kenevo is on show this Tuesday,I saw a pic of what looked like the new enduro with the low mounted shock and with triple clamp forks could it be true will have to wait and see.
you can create your own with the countdown app of your choice and a picture, if I remember it right the same Picture and countdown were up on the forum last year at the 19 Levo release, self generated by a user to the date/ time he was suspecting.
But I don’t remember how accurate he was

Hey all.
New to the forum and ebikes in general, but years on mountain bikes and motorcycles. Anyhow picked up a Kenevo yesterday for $1000 off MSRP, but having some buyers remorse as I've read though this thread. I can still return it, but wonder what everyone's thoughts are? I'll be putting a 40 on the bike I've bought bike and a new wheelset as it's gonna function as a DH trails shuttle bike largely. Trying to decide what's the best thing to do. Thanks for any input.

Too true. Just trying to gauge the best value for my money. Build up this a bit, or just get a prebuilt one new. It's not a small amount of cash! ?

Well, it's all a question about what you can live with and what parts you just NEED to change..
The new Kenevo will most likely get the newer motor, same as in the levo and a larger battery + updated frame geometry, but still only Alu by the looks of things. And those are the things you can't change.
For the rest, there looks like it will be an option of dual crown on one model, but it will most likely not be a fox 40 judging from the rumors... So is another dual crown livable for you? and same goes for any other changeable parts that will be different on the new one (No one really knows exactly what they will come with until launched though)
Not to mention an expected sizable price hike for 2020...
If you will change a lot anyway, and you are fine with the non-changeable things mentioned, then 1K off on the one you bought might go a long way towards the parts you want... And there is the question of stock and waiting time to get hold of a 2020 etc as well, wich is an unkown Vs. the one you already have. And what you already have is a super bike really...
But it's a tough one, I agree... Best of luck figuring out what you want to do mate.

Unless you're flush with cash I would stick with what you have, AUD is not worth shit so price rise will be significant. Old Kenevos are priced at about 90cents to USD and you will be riding this week.
If you go with the upgrades then they will go on your next bike so a base model 2021 or so. Probably worth demoing a 2020 levo this week to absolutely rule it out of the equation as they are damn capable. If they offer a frame only option then it would do my head in as to what to do.

I think that given what you intend to do the new bike particularly the expert would be better.
Firstly you already have a Boxxer up front so no need for a 40 and second the 700 battery. I find my Kenevo is heavy on its battery so if you use it as a shuttle bike a bigger or second battery is a nice to have.
The new bike definitely is more gravity orientated longer, lower and slacker than the current one which I own and like because it is a long travel trail bike which does tight hairpins uphill yet still is acceptable in an enduro setting. The new bike may not be as all purpose which sounds like it would be good for you. the $1000 you saved will go straight into the fork makes no sense.

Only 60 Framesets available worldwide, they are all S-Works, majority are in Germany
Chris Reilly@Berkshire Cycles cant get any but is looking to buy a load of 2020 S-Works to strip down and sell on as a frameset only option
You can buy an S-works frameset from Germany and have it shipped to the UK, i spoke to Specialized UK about this and any warranty work that may need to be carried out and they said the following
Regards to motor or battery warranty this can be sorted within the UK under warranty but you would have to pay the bike shop labour costs for the motor to be removed and a new one fitted
Regards to Frame warranty this would need to be dealt with Specialized in Germany so you would have to return the frame to them for any warranty work
This is pre Brexit, after Brexit they said things could change

I am predicting most people are going to be let down by the new Kenevo.
There are plenty of people that can’t wait to see it, but just as many people ready to tear it apart on forums like this and social media.
The first year of anything is never the time to buy.
Look at the 2019 Levo issues, how about the issues people are having with their YT decoys.
I honestly think you made the right call and I am a retailer that has to always push the new thing.
